The main goal is the establishment of thermally- and light-induced precession polymerization reactions inside the channels of three-dimensional templates based on surface-anchored metal-organic frameworks (SURMOFs) with exactly defined geometry. Inside one channel one single polymer chain can grow in isolation to other chains. As terminating reactions will be avoided and by the restriction of the available space, polymers with defined length and minimal dispersity will be obtained.
