Project C2 • Highly Cross-Linked Polymers for Functional Multi-Layers

Highly cross-linkable conjugated molecules for future printable, efficient and long-time stable multi-layer OLEDs and organic solar cells will be developed. Part of the challenge for the macromolecular synthesis is the development of fast and preferably spatially selective cross-linking reactions, to minimize molecular diffusion between functional layers. Primarily, the project aims at producing highly ordered multi-layers, generated layer-by-layer from metal-free ligation chemistry and interlinked by further chemical reactions.
